Lamar Medical Center (LMC) has progressively expanded its services and programs to meet the changing needs of the community. We provide access to quality comprehensive, culturally diverse, and community-based primary care to improve the quality of life for our patients.
Expanding The Journey To A Higher Education
Mattie B. Burney Scholarship- Assists low to moderate income college freshmen and college sophomores from around the CSRA who have at least a 2.5 or better grade point average on their journey to a higher education.

Rev. Dr. Sam Davis the Founder and CEO/Chairman of the Board for 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations: The Beulah Grove Community Resource Center, Inc. (Augusta, Georgia) and the 30901 Development Corporation, Inc. (Augusta, Georgia). These organizations have established programs and services for the community which include a primary care medical center, case management services, youth services, Summer Explosion (an enrichment program for children in K5 - 8th grades), financial planning workshops, home ownership training seminars, housing developments, and a senior citizens complex.
Minister Jean Callaway the Executive Director of the Beulah Grove Community Resource Center, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 Non-profit and the Lamar Medical Center, a division of the Beulah Grove Resource Center. She has been employed on the Beulah Grove Campus for 18 years. Under her tenure the following programs have been created: Mattie B. Burney Scholarship, Mattie B. Burney Golf Tournament, Young Christian CEO Leadership Conference, and Summer Explosion, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Golden Agers Christmas Adoption, and moving Lamar Medical Center to accepting third party insurances.
