Operated by: Beulah Grove Community Resource Center, Inc.

Mission: To educate, develop and empower
The desire of the Beulah Grove Community Resource Center and Summer Explosion staffs is to create an academic fun-filled spiritual summer of activities for the youth of the CSRA.
Summer is an academic, cultural and recreation enrichment program that began in June 2001. The program began as an eight week summer program and later became a six-week program for kindergarten through eighth grade students. Students are taught by certified teachers from around the CSRA. Each student is prepared for the upcoming school term by being placed in their promoted grade. This allows the students the opportunity to be exposed to the grade appropriate curriculum, including pre and post testing. Summer Explosion is designed to provide enrichment in the areas of math, science, language arts, and communication, study and organizational skills. It is also designed to enhance the student’s critical thinking and to heighten the student’s curiosity.
The afternoon session students are involved in cultural and recreational activities, such as but not limited to: music, dance, mime, art, drama, Spanish, computer technology, bible study, and art. The students also take field trips to different outside activities such as: bowling, Ruth Patrick Science Center, and swimming.
In 2016, Summer Explosion joined forces with Kingdom Kids Development Center and Kingdom Kids Christian Academy to formulate the non-profit known as Kingdom Kids Preparatory School, to allow us to provide year round service.
