About Us
Reach One + Teach One + Develop One = Self Sufficiency
The Beulah Grove Community Resource Center, Inc. was chartered in 1993 by the Beulah Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Sam Davis. Under the direction and guidance of Dr. Sam Davis, the church purchased and converted a notorious night club, known as The Red Door into a community resource center. The Center became known as Operation Self-Help because of her programs.
The Beulah Grove Community Resource Center, Inc. was created to address the profound mental, medical, social services, and economic needs of the 30901 zip code community, an area that was neglected and depressed and is located in the heart of Augusta/Richmond County, Georgia. In 1997, the initial building utilized by the Resource Center was torn down and a new building was erected in the same location.
